My research focuses on the intersection of cooperativism and local peacebuilding. By engaging with concepts such as the local turn, everyday peace, and hybrid peace, I examine how community agents and grassroots structures contribute to sustainable development and conflict mediation at the micro-level. This perspective highlights the role of ordinary actors in negotiating stability amidst broader structural tensions.

This interest extends into responsive communitarianism, which I view as an interdisciplinary outgrowth of cooperativism. I explore how communal associations foster social cohesion, using Freemasonry as a key case study. Conceptualized as a historical guild, Freemasonry offers an interesting lens for observing the cultivation of everyday peace and the emergence of hybrid forms of social order.

To deepen this analysis, I draw meta-theoretically on frameworks from Kabbalah. Its insights into ethical and symbolic order provide a powerful tool for illuminating how philosophical traditions can inform the local turn in peace studies. Ultimately, this approach seeks to bridge the wisdom embedded in ritualized community practices with the contemporary dilemmas of social fragmentation and peaceful coexistence.
